We offer two kinds of fiberglass insulation based on your unique needs. Batted material is used for walls, under floors, and sloped ceiling insulations. Flat ceilings are insulated with blow-in insulation.
In Oregon, new construction codes require R-30 under floors, R-21 in exterior walls, and R-38 in sloped and flat ceilings. Johns Manville produces batt insulation in a variety of R-values and thicknesses. An R-value is a number that indicates the resistance to heat flow. Higher the R-value, better the insulation effectiveness.
Johns Manville also produces the blow-in product that Home Insulation uses - JM Climate Pro® Fiber Glass Blowing Wool. It is mainly used for insulating flat ceilings of new homes and walls of existing homes. It is the premier blow product on the market today. The product meets all the specifications for fire safety and moisture resistance. It doesn’t allow mildew or fungus and contains nothing to provide sustenance for vermin.
